Cookie policy

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the website oour.app uses, why it uses them, and how you manage your choice. It applies to the public website. The mobile app does not use cookies, and the web application uses only the technically necessary storage described in section 5.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places in your browser. Some are needed for the website to work, others help us understand how the website is used. We divide cookies into two categories: necessary, which are set without consent because the website does not work properly without them, and statistics, which are set only if you turn them on.

Necessary cookies do not track you and are not shared with anyone.

Statistics cookies (only with your consent)

Statistics show us which pages are read, from which devices and countries, and how many visitors book a demo. The IP address is shortened before storage (the last two octets are removed), so a visitor cannot be identified. Data stays in the European Union, is not shared with advertisers and is not combined with data from the app. Matomo does not use the data for its own purposes.

The website uses no advertising cookies, no social media cookies and no cross-site tracking tools.

3. How you manage your choice

• On your first visit the banner at the bottom of the page offers “Accept all”, “Necessary only” and “Settings”. Until you choose, only necessary cookies are set.
• Later you change your choice via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. If you turn statistics cookies off, we stop setting them and delete the existing ones.
• In your browser you can block or delete cookies in the settings. If you block all cookies, the website will ask for your choice again on every visit, because it cannot remember it.

Declining statistics cookies does not reduce any function of the website.

4. Fonts and external content

Fonts are served by the website oour.app itself, from its own domain. When a page loads, your browser sends no requests to third-party font services. The website embeds no video, maps or social media content.

5. Web application

The OOUR web application (for coordinators and managers) uses no tracking or statistics cookies. It uses technically necessary browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your language, which is cleared at sign-out. No consent is needed for this, because the application does not work without it.

6. Changes to this policy

When we add or remove a cookie, we update the table in section 2 and the date at the top of the page. If we add a new cookie category that requires consent, the banner is shown again.
